As Helen wrote we had a wonderful picnic at Close Memorial Park. This is one of many Springfield Area Parks. And really, when you get down to it the parks, the Ozarks Greenway Trails, and the Public Library are about the only thing the area has going for it. Those are the few things I'll miss after we move. But I digress.
The day was lovely.. Really nice and cool for this time of year. More updates later, I'm off to mow 'The Elders' (Helen's mom & dad) acreage.
